In a scene of compassion and solidarity, Ataya Charitable Association distributed hundreds of food parcels to displaced families in the southern Gaza Strip at Ataya Camp, as part of its ongoing efforts to confront the famine and the suffocating siege that is devouring the fabric of life in the Gaza Strip.
Amid tents and destruction, and between hunger and deprivation, by God's grace the emergency food-basket project was implemented and hundreds of comprehensive food baskets were prepared where Ataya parcels acted as a ray of light that sent hope and restored some food security and calm to the displaced.
This effort and generosity from brothers and sisters outside Gaza through the online campaign sends a message to hearts that we believe that giving is life, and that goodness is sown to bear resilience, Ataya continues to carry out its mission, extending a helping hand where there is pain, and scattering happiness on faces worn down by sorrow.
