Your Zakat Is Salvation… for the People of Gaza amid Hunger, Displacement and Need

Under the suffocating blockade, and the absence of income sources and cash liquidity, Ataya Charitable Association continues its efforts to alleviate the burden on all afflicted families through a mandatory zakat distribution project titled "Your Zakat Is Salvation", supported by benefactors in the Sultanate of Oman, to deliver zakat funds to the poorest and most needy families in central Gaza.
This project comes at a time when thousands of families suffer displacement, extermination and resource scarcity, making financial support an urgent humanitarian necessity, especially with the spread of famine and increasing living burdens.
The distribution process included various groups of widows, displaced persons, those with chronic illnesses, and families who have lost their breadwinner, where assistance was provided in cash to preserve dignity and enable families to meet their basic needs.
Ataya Charitable Association emphasizes that zakat is not only a financial worship act but also a means to save lives and strengthen people's resilience, expressing gratitude to the donors in the Sultanate of Oman for embodying the spirit of Islamic brotherhood.
